🌸 Design Story
I created this memorial piece after noticing how many buyers shared photos of their cats lying by the window, quietly looking outside. That posture always felt so peaceful, relaxed, and full of comfort, so I wanted to capture that feeling in this design.

The cat is shown in a lounging pose, with one paw resting on the urn, so the figurine and the box can interact and become one complete piece rather than two separate parts.

I also hand-paint flowers, botanical details and some patterns on the wooden urn with acrylic.

Inner top diameter: 9 cm
Inner base diameter: 7 cm
Inner height: 7.5 cm

The internal capacity is approximately 379 cm³ / 23.1 cu in.
This size is generally suitable for the full ashes of most cats and small dogs.

Please note that ashes are not always fully compact, and they are often returned in a bag, so actual fit may vary slightly. If your pet was close to this weight, choosing a slightly larger size may offer more peace of mind.

Customisation 1: Cat Figurine
After placing your order, please send me 4–6 photos via Etsy message, showing your cat from the front, side, and back. We will hand-carve the figurine in wood based on your photos.

The default cat pose is a lounging position, like the one shown in the photos, with the cat gently interacting with the wooden urn. If you would like a different pose, please leave a note at checkout or send me a message on Etsy.

This style is not extremely hyper-realistic. It sits somewhere between realistic and slightly stylised, with more focus on capturing your cat’s expression, posture, and overall spirit.

Customisation 2: Hand-Painted Design on Wooden Urn
The painted floral and patterned designs on these urns are currently designed by myself and hand-painted with acrylic.

You may choose:
- a plain wooden urn with no painted design
- one of our existing painted designs
- or a custom painted design

If you would like your own custom design on the urn, this will require an additional fee.

Many works in my shop are connected to plants, because I have always believed that our pets return to nature. By bringing flowers into the piece, I hope to make it feel softer, more beautiful, and more connected to that gentle return.
